Tigers Are Not Afraid (2017) mini-review

Haunting and affecting. This will stay with me for a while. Magical-realism set amongst Mexican street kids caught up in a gang war. A solid 8 on the Skelpometer.

Edit: After letting this film settle for a day, I’m uprating it to a 9. I took off a point for something that I thought didn’t fit with the internal logic of the movie, but I now realise that it does. If you get the chance, watch this movie.
